Headed out this morning with an old college buddy and was able to get him on his first salmon.

6 rod spread

All fish in 110-115 3-6 miles North. NE-NW troll

9 and 10 lb king wire 1 1/2 180 out 8 inch Blue bubble SD/fly

12lb King and 4 lb laker 300 copper 8 inch mountain dew SD/fly

approx 4lb king lost 100 down 10 inch Blue killer w/ UV tape/ blue dolphin fly

Ran a few spoons and j plugs with no takers. No bites early morning. Took our first hit at 8am.

Surface temps 72-70. No probe today

Dave it's the Blue NBK chrome spin doctor. I buy the clear UV tape from Big Weenie and add it on. It's pre-cut to go on the spin doctors. Been a pretty good setup for the past 2 years for me

Forgot to add.

After going through prime morning time marking lot's of fish without a bump I asked my non-fisherman passenger if he had brought a banana or something. Sure enough he did! Demanded he throw it overboard but allowed him to eat it quickly and throw the peel overboard. He thought I was nuts:lol: Sure enough 15 minutes later we got bit.

Do you put the clear uv on the Inside of the SD then?

Both sides Dave. The tape shades the colors a bit but not much. They're not on the website. Call them and they'll send them to ya. They always have them at the shows. Color is pearl transparent. My taped flashers are my goto's once the sun rises
