Fished 8/19-8/24. Limits on all mornings I could get out and averaged 3-4 fish in the evenings. Fished mainly on the south side of the herring hole in 60-100fow. Tons of boats north on the point/bank. Temp started out 70 down then came up as high as 35 down. Best baits were silver horde plugs in MOP, grey ghost and green splatter back. Green flashers and proctologist flies on the dipseys. Meat rigs worked once the sun was up with the best colors being purple haze and white glow.

Thanks for the report. Was gonna head up there tomorrow for 4 days but the wind and wave forecast said otherwise. So am canceling trip till next week. God I hate holiday weekends!!!

We are heading there on the 2nd and 3rd of September. Frankfort is a great port and we do real good there everytime we go.
