jimcr Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 Back at it again last night with my son Nick. Left the harbor about 550 and took a ride north to 110 fow. trolled north north east , The last time we were out we finished and it was Nicks up to bat so we continued, 5 color fires and Nick pulls in a 14lb bruiser,Why he always gets a big fish I will never know, now its my turn Just a few minutes later Dandy Glo J plug fires , this guy didn't want to move and tried to stay deep all the time , very few head shakes . Truns out to be a 14 lb lake trout. My biggest yet. For the next hour about every fifteen minutes a rigger or lead core would fire. Had to hang up with my cousin fish on ! Finished the evening 7 for 9 , most fish caught in 110 fow riggers parked at 90 and 75. 2- 5 color and 2- 7 color. What worked were all glow plugs and spoons. Smallest fish came in at 8 lbs. A very successful night. Tight Lines Jim
KJ pluggin Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 Nice work Jim, the glow program has been working for us all year to.
SUPERTRAMP Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 nicely done Jim. The plug bite is on in S Haven too. I have noticed in the last 2 weeks the males are already changing color and the spawn in the females is ripening fast.
