i totally forgot to mention that this fish was a male, also the adipose fin was clipped. The head has been sent in to the fisheries

I wanted to give an update on this fish. We finally received the planting info on him. He was planted in 1996 on the 6 fathom reef. We also had another 6lb Lake trout that day,that was also tagged caught in that same area. He was planted in 1995 at Rockport. Fish were different strains of lake trout.

Cool deal! I think the smelt are really comming back in Huron! They actually did really good dipping them in the spring north of Au Gres last yr! It'll be interesting to see what this spring brings!
