Got on the water at 3 p.m. and went west to 220' of water and took a north troll. Temp break at about 90' down, middle 40's. Trolled to the stick and went 5 for 7 along the way. 1 steelhead, 1 coho that went about 8#, 1 laker and 2 kings. 3 of the 5 came on a JP Slammer Orange Crush on a 5 color. Didn't mark many fish, all fish caught came on a north troll with the wind and waves at our back. Fishing was quite slow all over from what I heard.

Nice work Tony, thanks for the report. Didnt make it over this weekend, but will be over next Friday unless something comes up or the forcast isnt favorable.

When i was over the best fishing was either south of Ludington or north of the point. 90-150 seems to be some productive water in either location. Fished out along the nets from strait out down to the point and had the same results as you. A mix of kings, steel and lakers but not much on the graph or on the rods. Did better in close fishing the bottom 20' from the stick north to the 06's. Big white paddles and green flies on the riggers 90-125' down and then the same colors 200+ on the wires with spinnies and flies. Mag Flounder pounder was our best spoon. 300 copper w/mag blue dolphin and then the 3 color w/yeck fireball had action. The 150 copper and all the rest of the cores were dead for us.
