Flyboy
Another great morning on the lake. Beautiful sunrise and a lake of glass makes every trip out enjoyable no matter how many fish you catch. It was a pretty slow morning however. First time all year we got all the rods set without a fish on. Anyways, hooked on to the first fish at about 6:15. Little dink, not much bigger than the spoon it hit, so it had to go back. Until about 7:30 we took hits, nothing fast and furious, but steady, but by 7:30 everything was done. Ended up probably 5 for 7 staying in about 95-105 fow. Rigger down 65 with a double trouble took three fish, rigger down 74 with a big white paddle and a seamist horsefly took one, and a dipsy 175 back with a blue/pearl sd and a blue bubble fly also took one. Nothin bigger than 13lbs. Overall, great morning on the water, will be back out on Saturday. Flyboy Is anyone else getting alot of trips on the riggers but no hook ups? We had several other hits, but by the time you could even say fish on, they were gone. Probaly had another 4 or 5 releases with nothing there. It was interesting because this would only happen on the riggers set at 50 or above, anything below was a clean hook up every time.
