Got over to the slip @ 6:00PM, headed out to my pre set way point and set lines in 85 FOW on a north troll. Program was mostly green spoons on the cores and coppers along with a couple of carmel dolphins spoons on the riggers and dipseys. Ended up at 9:30 with 1 really overstuffed Laker and 4 lost fish. 1 King came off after diving thru the downrigger cables and hanging the hook on the cable, that was on a 300 copper NBK, the others were on carmel dolphin on a full core just new fishermen trying to horse the fish and the hooks pulled out Saddest was a brand new stingray carmel dolphin on the dipsey out 214 set on 2 and a brand new Sampo swivel had the split ring pull out left the straightened put ring on the leader what a bummer. Still a great evening on the water fished fm 85 to 117 and marked a lot of fish 55 to 70 down. The sunset was really magnificent to end the day. (That Laker came on the deep rigger 93 dn)

Keep them drags loose. Mike have you tried running a flasher/fly on the bottom lately?

Also Moonshine spoons work very well for the last light kings that come off the bottom.
