SUPERTRAMP
Got over to the slip @ 6:00PM, headed out to my pre set way point and set lines in 85 FOW on a north troll. Program was mostly green spoons on the cores and coppers along with a couple of carmel dolphins spoons on the riggers and dipseys. Ended up at 9:30 with 1 really overstuffed Laker and 4 lost fish. 1 King came off after diving thru the downrigger cables and hanging the hook on the cable, that was on a 300 copper NBK, the others were on carmel dolphin on a full core just new fishermen trying to horse the fish and the hooks pulled out Saddest was a brand new stingray carmel dolphin on the dipsey out 214 set on 2 and a brand new Sampo swivel had the split ring pull out left the straightened put ring on the leader what a bummer. Still a great evening on the water fished fm 85 to 117 and marked a lot of fish 55 to 70 down. The sunset was really magnificent to end the day. Nailer
Keep them drags loose. Mike have you tried running a flasher/fly on the bottom lately? Also Moonshine spoons work very well for the last light kings that come off the bottom.
