I put it 3 colors in, maybe I should go 6 or 7 next time?
Nailer Posted July 27, 2010 Posted July 27, 2010 Someone help me out here...Full core = 40-50 feet down or so3 oz dive bomb should be about 30.... how on gods earth did I catch zebra muscles in 90 FOWDave most likely you got the bottom as you where letting it back.300 feet of lead line free falling as the board is going back.Nice job on the fish. Is the boat running better now?
Hotdog71 Posted July 27, 2010 Posted July 27, 2010 Way to go Dave! Sounds like you're getting dialed in.
Just Hook'n Posted July 27, 2010 Posted July 27, 2010 What nailer said, and/or the 2.0mph is very slow. lead core at 2.0mph probably travels more like 60feet down or more.
Killin' It Posted July 27, 2010 Author Posted July 27, 2010 Boat ran well, Trying a buddies kicker 6 horse, just trying to get it dialed in before I buy it. The only problem I had with the boat tonight was getting the kicker dialed into 2.4 or so. it was either 2.0 or 2.7 so I stuck with 2.0 because we were picking up fish. I had the big motor looked at and the trim issue fixed. Pins cleaned and some other small stuff done. Aside from a 11 inch paddle getting all tangled up on itself it was a fairly relaxing night.
