Boblo Posted July 26, 2010 Posted July 26, 2010 Enjoy reading everyone's comments. Learning a lot . I am new to the sight, first post as well. First off I can't believe the N.W.S was correct on the wave height, they said 2'-4' and they were right on.. also a few occasional 5 footers mixed in.. Pretty choppy this morning....2 for 2 this A.M. started off in 100' of water and picked up first king at 7:30 in the 105' range..77' down on a rigger with a Pro King Magnum..don't know the name but it resembled an alewives, fish came in at the 14# mark, good start I thought...............2 hrs and 45 mins later we took fish #2, another king on a rigger at 95' down in 118' of water...that one consumed a Blue Dolphin, fish came in at 10#...fished for another hour up and down up and down and called it....we don't catch a lot of fish but we have fun trying...
Nailer Posted July 26, 2010 Posted July 26, 2010 Robert, thanks for the update. Welcome to the site."we don't catch a lot of fish but we have fun trying"True statement here. It's the challenge of fishing that keeps us coming back. When it stops being fun, it's over.
Just Hook'n Posted July 26, 2010 Posted July 26, 2010 Hey Robert, welcome to the site and thanks for the report. If you fish PS often you'll probably here us out there (Just Hook'n).I was on the radio on Sunday morning begging for information. Even the charters had a tough go on Sunday. 2 big fish was a pretty good day on any boat.Nice work.
