I do not run a snubber at all i have mono,braid and wire diver. I keep the drags reallly lose and i dont have a problem with them at all. The snubber is to put some strech in the no strech line.

we took the snubbers off two weeks ago because the fish we were pulling were out of temp and lite biting. we do run them in the fall when the bigger fish come in

For walleye dont I dont use em. For Salmon I always do when a big fish hits it it just help take up some of the shock I have tried them on both sides of the dipsy I think behind is the best.

Yeah found that out the hard way about ten years ago I know a guy that swore by running them that way well I triedit had to end up pulling my riggers and putting the boat in neutral to get it in.
