flyman013
Got a very late start today and started at 1pm. Headed south towards Deerlick creek and setup in 26 FOW. Caught a perch right off the bat. Caught another about five minutes later. Those were the only two perch we caught today. After that, we searched the area and came up with 8 gobies. So we never got into them, but many did this morning. The guys at the fish cleaning station said they got them early morning in 20-25 FOW. Still had a great time with my two favorite fishing partners, my wife and dad. And those gobies are OK too, they make for good tomatoes in the late summer:thumb:
mj6131
You really had to be right on top of them today. We were down by the first dune, watched one boat catch one after another, nobody else around catching anything. Finally, after about 2 hours of looking, we became "that" boat, caught 40 in about an hour, then they quit, so did we. A lot of decent size, I threw back 3, the wife 1.
