Katrina Seath
Started setting lines in 70 fow. We got two lines out and a 10 core with a one oz. snap weight that took off with a 18 lb king, which took Mark almost 25 minutes to reel in. That pole had a small green and white flasher, with the pickled sunshine fly. Not long after that, the downrigger, set at 60 ft., with the mountain dew flasher and citron fly went off and made a short run and snapped the line because someone (Mark), forgot to set the drag. So, there is a fish out there with my flasher and fly. Fished for a few more hours and nothing. Decided to pull the lines and found both of my lucky dipsys had been dragging 2/3lb lakers for I'm not sure how long. Ended up 3 for 4.And to top off the night, we were headed home and we blew out a leaf spring on the boat trailer on the railroad tracks leaving north Muskegon. Mark mcguyvered it so we could limp it homeWe'll be out there again Sunday AM.
