Priority1 Posted July 10, 2010 Posted July 10, 2010 Three of us picked up a 3 man limit of 16 to 20 inch eyes on Thursday. I took my son and 7 yo grandson out Friday and only managed 3. Friday we got a late start and caught the three fish quickly. It's a little different this year. We fished with meat both days. Green, White, Red, Chartreuse.
DIRTY DOG Posted July 10, 2010 Posted July 10, 2010 Great job Frank, 3 is better than the SMELLY KITTY.
Nailer Posted July 10, 2010 Posted July 10, 2010 I'm thinking the heat has a bit to do with it. Still good to spend time with the young ones.
Adam Bomb Posted July 11, 2010 Posted July 11, 2010 Great work Frank. Been a different fishery for certain this year.
Paperboy1 Posted July 18, 2010 Posted July 18, 2010 Hey Mr. Frank!! I found my way back over here to GLF! Hope your power is back on buddy. Nice job in tougher than usual conditions this season. Where to look for the walleye now? In close or out by the Charities?? Think you can launch at the new ramps in Tawas?? Head to Alabaster waters?? Try spoons instead of meat? Hmmm?
Skeeter Posted July 18, 2010 Posted July 18, 2010 What new ramps do they have in Tawas? You talking about the DNR? OR is that what they were doing with the heavy equipment by that kids play grounds by the river just as you come into Tawas? My boat is fixed and running WELL. Ready to hit my favorate area. Tawas and AuGres. Skeeter

Skeeter Posted July 19, 2010 Posted July 19, 2010 You remember where all those stone childrens amimals are right across the river. Its my understanding that they built a NEW boat ramp there. I will still use the DNR ramp though. Nels
