Three of us picked up a 3 man limit of 16 to 20 inch eyes on Thursday. I took my son and 7 yo grandson out Friday and only managed 3. Friday we got a late start and caught the three fish quickly. It's a little different this year. We fished with meat both days. Green, White, Red, Chartreuse.

Nels, Yes right at the park @ the mouth of the Tawas River. I think it's still a small boat launch. The river mouth area is pretty shallow.

You remember where all those stone childrens amimals are right across the river. Its my understanding that they built a NEW boat ramp there. I will still use the DNR ramp though. Nels
