Killin' It Posted July 7, 2010 Posted July 7, 2010 Needs some work and some gear, but as I said it gets me off the pier..
Hotdog71 Posted July 7, 2010 Posted July 7, 2010 Congrats on the boat Dave! Now you really have a money pit, just like the rest of us
Killin' It Posted July 7, 2010 Author Posted July 7, 2010 I know right... Slap about 6 rods/rod holders on that bad boy and away I go:)Catching fish is just a bonus for now.... Getting off the pier is good enough for now.
Paulywood Posted July 7, 2010 Posted July 7, 2010 Looks like it's in good shape Dave. Lot's of room to fight fish. That kicker looks like it's older than you and me put together, but as long as it runs. I have a Sea King on my little boat that might even be older than that kicker. Should be a good boat for you.
jimcr Posted July 7, 2010 Posted July 7, 2010 look out for the hole that you pour money into, Nice boat it will get the job done.
its an addiction Posted July 7, 2010 Posted July 7, 2010 Congrats Dave. That boat looks like it should do you well.
Just Hook'n Posted July 7, 2010 Posted July 7, 2010 Way to go Dave. We are always welcoming new members to the money pit. HA.You'll enjoy it.
pulpfishin Posted July 7, 2010 Posted July 7, 2010 Nice rig, Dave. Looks like you have some Cannon swivel bases on there, and guess what? I have the perfect set of new Cannon manuals I would be willing to part ways with that will fit those swivel bases. They have been used 1 time since they were taken out of the box. Now they just hang out in my garage collecting dust. Willing to make one sweet deal on them!! Shoot me a PM and I will exchange info with you if you are interested.
Nailer Posted July 7, 2010 Posted July 7, 2010 Nice find on the lowe Dave. As you may know Lowe is a renamed Sea Nymph. Thes where considered to be some of the best made boats out there. Good luck outfitting it.
N II Deep Posted July 8, 2010 Posted July 8, 2010 Looks like a great boat, and that older Fourwinns in the background are great on the lake as well.
Killin' It Posted July 8, 2010 Author Posted July 8, 2010 So the boat rigging continues... Picked up 2 eagle claw rods with some Penn reels today 40 dollars for 2 set ups;) Not the best, but it will get the job done. Put the 2 Cannon riggers on the boat as well (came with boat) and even put them rigger rods in the holders...

Looks like I'll have to find a spot for them if nobody wants to make an offer!

Hotdog71 Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 That's good news Dave. So when are you getting out on the pond? Two rods, a boat, riggers, what else do you need? Get out there!
Killin' It Posted August 19, 2010 Author Posted August 19, 2010 Here is a picture of the boat... with some gear on her... Wife said scooby snacks could not be the name lol.... It reminded her of the lonley nights she spent at home when I was after kings on the pier.... New boat name to come lol
Grant Sadler Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 Nice setup Dave good all-a-round boat, and one for wife in the back ground, SWEET.
