Jose Posted July 3, 2010 Posted July 3, 2010 Pulled back the throttle at 75fow and started setting lines on a west troll at around 6:30, put out the two cores then started on the riggers. Once I got the first one set it popped almost right away and we boated a 5lb king that hit a mag happee meal 62 down. Next fish was an 8lb king around 90 fow that hit a vintage pro king spoon that is yellow and orange 64 down on a rigger. Next fish was a shaker that didnt even pop the release on the downrigger, hit the pro king spoon. Next fish was a 7lb king that took a mag flounder pounder down 74 on a rigger. We trolled around the nets in around 120 fow and picked up two more fish, one was a 5lb steelhead that hit a two color that was pulling an old slammer spoon that was orange and white. I believe it was a skamania steelhead since is had loose eggs in it, looked to be ready to spawn. Also picked up a laker somewhere in there around 130fow 94 down on a rigger. Ended the morning 7 for 7!
