KJ pluggin Posted June 29, 2010 Posted June 29, 2010 It has been a long frustrating wait but after a year and a half of owning our new old boat we were able to get it on the water last weekend. She is a 1980 Century and has a lot of work done to her over the years. After we bought it we had to have the transom replaced as well as many other minor issues. We also made a few improvements of our own and we still have some upgrades to make but for now just being able to fish out of her is a relief.
Priority1 Posted June 29, 2010 Posted June 29, 2010 She is one sweet ride. Ya know I luv dem hardtops.
Adam Bomb Posted June 29, 2010 Posted June 29, 2010 Definitely worth the wait. Have fun in your new rig, it looks great.
Just Hook'n Posted June 29, 2010 Posted June 29, 2010 That is a pretty impressive boat. I've always wanted to ask though. Why do you run a high board on the back of the boat for riggers and such? Seems like it would get in the way for netting and be a pain. Just curious.
KJ pluggin Posted June 29, 2010 Author Posted June 29, 2010 The rail our boat really isn't that high, probably about waist high. If it wasn't there I would be worried about people falling out of the boat in rough water.
c-cast Posted June 30, 2010 Posted June 30, 2010 The work you put in was worth it.Nice job. Is that a speaker or a mega phone on the roof?

It was not working when we got the boat and we currently do not have it hooked up to anything. We may hook it up in the future but right now I really don't have much of a need for it.
Just Hook'n Posted June 30, 2010 Posted June 30, 2010 AH, I see now from some of your other pictures you posted catching fish. Thanks for the answer.
