GLF Posted June 28, 2010 Posted June 28, 2010 The boys and I left the dock at 8:15am(I let them sleep in) on Sunday. Ended up with one coho and one lake trout. Ran out to 110 FOW and set up. We trolled around for an hour before I decided to pull lines because of the storm coming in. I had just finished covering up the boat and started heading home when it started raining. 11" hotchip Double pearl flasher with a Siggs Rigs brushed stainless trophy fly on a wire diver set on 1.5 with 250' of line out. 8" prochip PK Special with a Siggs Rigs green mist trophy fly on a wire diver set on 1.5 with 230' of line out. The down temp at 60' was 62 degrees. The down temp at 70' was 55 degrees. Marked a lot of fish in the 60' range, but it is out of temp and nothing would go.
Nailer Posted June 28, 2010 Posted June 28, 2010 If you miss the first/last light bite, it's tough. Nice job for the time you had.
tltorrice Posted June 28, 2010 Posted June 28, 2010 Nice job Mike. Your boys are getting big. They will be handling rods by themselves soon.
Adam Bomb Posted June 28, 2010 Posted June 28, 2010 Nice job Mike. Looks like you need some NNW wind to cool her back down.
Just Hook'n Posted June 28, 2010 Posted June 28, 2010 Nice work Mike. The boys are getting big.I was shocked this spring. We may need to get Hunter a hip belt (not a pink one).
EdB Posted June 29, 2010 Posted June 29, 2010 Enjoy that quality time with your boys, they are getting big fast!
