onlyflyfish4vr
Took out new comer couple to big lake fishing.7 pm start at 85' with first short rip at 105'ish on wire diver/white flasher/blue and white? fly. Trolled out to the 120-135' range and set up north south troll. 300' copper with Mag. Flounder Pounder starts screaming. Long Tag team effort with hubby finishing the fight, netting 35" 22lb. Worked the 140-150 range and picked up 17 lb. and 7-8 lb. King on Area 51, and Green Icicle 100' cable out on riggers. Trolling in has 1 more wire diver 2 tug strike, and a 5-6 lb. laker on Area 51 close to bottom. A great night, and wondering where the 3' waves where? CAC
Good Job! And we all know the excitement of the newcomer with the first fish in the net. What fun!
GLF
Great job out there. NOAA does not always have the most accurate forecast.
Flyboy
Sounds like a great trip! Way to go! Do you know how makes that Area 51 spoon? That seems to be showing up quite a bit in reports lately.

Priority1
I think their forecasts are uneducated guesses. GJ on the fish. It is looking good for the months ahead.

Just Hook'n
22lbs. AWESOME. I've not broken the 20lb barrier yet (this year or last). Can't wait. You are spoiling the newbies. Way to go.
