spoonfed Posted July 26, 2006 Posted July 26, 2006 We fished the Ludington tournament last weekend. We arrived Wed night so we could pre-fish the kids tourney. We didnt set poles on thursday, untill noon due to some weather issues (lightning), But we went 3 for 6 in only an hour and a half. For the kids tourney we were going to run to Manistee for some colder water, but ended up at the s.w. corner of the nets. We banged three fish right away, one was a big fish so we pulled rods to let jr. fight it. After a good fight and about 45 min. Derrick boated a 15.85 lb king. We picked a few more fish up at the point, and wore derrick out. The kids have to fight every fish!! We then ran south and got right into the steelhead. We boated a 7 lb steelie and lost 2 others. We also Boated a laker. So as Mark (Ajusted 3) put it we have a plan of attack! Well we had a north blow, and Sat we went 3 for 6, and it got worse. The fish quit about 8 am and we couldnt get it going. Sunday was about the same we went 2 for 6 right away then nothing. The good part was we took 16th in the kids tourny and he won a savings bond! Thanks again Mark for your help this weekend
