Has anyone had any experience with Boat US regarding being towed in or their road side assi. I have been a member for a year now and just renewed my membership. For unlimited fresh water towing it is like $58 a year. I fish way out sometimes, over 30 miles. I figured it would be cheap insurance if something happened. From my port they cover up to 50 mile out.

Wonder if their coverage is as good as they advertise.

I haven't used them but I know guys who have and they have been very happy with the response time.

I've not had to use it yet, thankfully, but I do have it.

For as much as it costs, and my only having one engine, It's a no brainer.

I agree Mark. I have the coverage also but haven't had to use it. It's nice to know it's there if I do.

Blew up my gimble Housing (not the bearing, it was greased) when a motor mount came unbolted (yes the stringers are fine) and it cost $600 to get towed back in and I was 8 miles from the pierheads when it gave out.. If they covered half of it it would have been worth it.
