DarkBlue
Went out for the evening tonight and went 7/7, six kings, one stelelie. Dispy with a white S/D with a Riverside fly took the biggest (15 lbs.), and everything else came on half and full cores w/spoons. 100 to 120 fow straight out was best. Current was key to the bite, and trolling into it was best. Fishing still a bit tough until the water sets up. Talked with a group at the launch who said they took five, and told me they had a thirty pounder. I offered my scale which registered it at 15 lbs and change. We all had a good laugh. Good luck, Chris
GLF
Nice job Chris. Now they know what a 30lb'er does not look like.
silver one
Thanks for the report. May be moving my boat up to Luddington/Manistee in the next couple of weeks to finish out the season.

Far Beyond Driven
It's all good. I heard a guy in a radio in a tournament say he had 4 all over 20 but he only weighed 64 pounds
SUPERTRAMP
Its easy to over estimate a King especially when he just kicked your but. Nice job.
DarkBlue
Nice job but u just ruined his day Oh no, the scale ruined his day. I just offered it. And he was still darned proud of the fish, which he should be. Anything over 15 lbs. has been scarce around here as of late. Chris

Katrina Seath
Nice job Chris. That's pretty funny about the 30 lb. I'm sure he felt pretty silly.I haven't been on the water for almost a month- too busy with kids and family things. I'm thinking I should try Ludington or Manistee soon.
