Billy V Posted July 22, 2006 Posted July 22, 2006 I just got back from a short 90 minute trip out on the water with a good friend of mine (Friday night). If I was fishing this weekend, which I'm not (baseball game in Philly...Go BRAVES!!!), I'd definitely save some gas and check out the inside waters....60-80FOW was LOADED with bait and fish tonight. We moved a couple of rods, but just didn't have enough time to really put our best effort out there. We trolled out as deep as 200 and found nothing. Came back in to 70 FOW after leaving fish to try and find fish and they were still there. Evidently the bite wasn't on all day, so my guess is that tomorrow morning will be good if you have a strong program for that water. Temps down 70 over 70 were 51 degrees, and it quickly warmed up to 65 degrees by bringing the probe up just 7-10 feet. Good luck to all this weekend!
Billy V Posted July 24, 2006 Author Posted July 24, 2006 Did anyone get out and try my suggestion of staying in close? I heard some nice reports of browns in close....
