Okay lets get this party started. It's been a while since a post for Ohio Erie was put on here. Has anyone gone up this year? How are you doing?

If the weather holds up, I'll be launching out of Geneva this Sun. I'll have a report good or bad coming up. Good luck to all and be safe.

Post spawn feed patterns should be the norm.

Water is still stained but getting better daily.

Lots of smelt this year and good size to boot.

Big die-off this spring. Have not seen one this big in a long time.

I would start with stick baits and then go from there.

If you are out camping this long weekend then be aware the nights have been pretty chilly (below 60 degrees).

It's a week late, but here it is. We went up last weekend out of Geneva. Headed west about 7-8 miles. Trolled in 47-50FOW. Only one eye and several farm animals. Marked lots of fish, just no cooperative fish.

I think theyre all fishing up here on Saginaw Bay outta Linwood...Id gladly send half back your way...lol...Thanks for the report, better luck next time. Some friends have been doing good on Erie fishing Michigan waters.
