mirro166 Posted May 28, 2010 Posted May 28, 2010 Glad you like em. Working on yesterday mornings trip right now.
BlueCollarOutdoors Posted July 13, 2010 Author Posted July 13, 2010 (edited) Heres some action from a morning last week, waves were building and the fish were hammering. My friend got one a downrigger rod that tangled in a fixed slider and took him 45 minutes to land the fish. I landed 4 in that time. Fun morning could have used a few more hands, and the video doesnt show the first couple hits because it was too dark yet. 6q02bHVsRtw Edited July 13, 2010 by GLF embed video
BlueCollarOutdoors Posted September 9, 2010 Author Posted September 9, 2010 (edited) Sometime in July, couldnt see 100 yards in that junk. The fishing however was very good. WE landed a few fish on riggers with green flashers, then dipseys with white flashers and a happy meal spoon. Around 9 oclock we hit 2 rainbows and 2 double digit kings on orange spoons on the 5 color and a 2 oz snapweight back 150 feet on the boards in 125 fow. h1fbpuvgNr4 Edited September 9, 2010 by BlueCollarOutdoors link
BlueCollarOutdoors Posted September 9, 2010 Author Posted September 9, 2010 (edited) Glad you like it. Any of the fish where we were removing the boards in the later half of the video were around 9 oclock. The fog woud lift a touch then get terrible again. It was very strange. When we quit around 10 we were greeted by a wall around 30 fow. Our windsheild, the fishing line, even our shirts instantly were holding water.Had a lot of fun on that little boat this summer, and my 40 dollar riggers were a great investment. Im sitting around 125 fish for the year, I think I had 30 last year, and 20 the year before. So Im moving in the right direction I guess. Edited September 10, 2010 by BlueCollarOutdoors added on
Nailer Posted September 10, 2010 Posted September 10, 2010 Great videos Jeff and friends. thanks for sharing these.
KJ pluggin Posted September 10, 2010 Posted September 10, 2010 Looked like a fun morning Jeff! How did your camera like all the moisture in the air?
BlueCollarOutdoors Posted September 10, 2010 Author Posted September 10, 2010 It was fine that day, a week later when by some miracle it ended up in the livewell....not so good. Took it apart, dried it all out, still works but looks about 60 percent of what it used to. Not happy about that at all. The lens has a constant fog to it. Thats why i havnt been putting up any new videos.
KJ pluggin Posted September 10, 2010 Posted September 10, 2010 Wow, I'm surprised it still works at all! If you are looking for another camera down the road my wife is trying to sell ours. It is a Cannon GL2 with accessories.
BlueCollarOutdoors Posted September 10, 2010 Author Posted September 10, 2010 Thats a heck of a camera, way out of our budget for right now. Someday.
KJ pluggin Posted September 10, 2010 Posted September 10, 2010 That's fine, just thought I would throw it out there. We used to make snowboarding videos every winter but we no longer have time for it. Besides that, I'm not sure I could get my wife to go out and shoot video for hours on end in the cold anymore.
BlueCollarOutdoors Posted April 18, 2011 Author Posted April 18, 2011 (edited) New edit from last year, the other screaming diver link made me think of this one. Watch the diver about 10 seconds in get pounded. Straight up fire drill that actually lasted about 20 minutes, took down 3 nice kings. Edited April 18, 2011 by Nailer inbeded video
Just Hook'n Posted April 18, 2011 Posted April 18, 2011 Great work out there and thank you for sharing the videos.
DIRTY DOG Posted April 18, 2011 Posted April 18, 2011 Thanks Jeff, if that don't get the heart pumping after a looong winters nap, Im not sure what would.
BlueCollarOutdoors Posted June 21, 2011 Author Posted June 21, 2011 4gMr0zpqkhQ Maiden voyage on friends new to him boat for this season. Bite wasnt fast and furious but we did put the net to 8 lb salmon flasher fly off a deep rigger5 lb rainbow flasher fly off a medium rigger4 lb rainbow on a 2 color core and orange spoon(that we dragged around in rough seas forever)8/9 pound king off a rigger down 80 feet. BlueCollarOutdoors Posted June 27, 2011 Author Posted June 27, 2011 LQXWSjteKaQ Last sunday 5 for 5 with some big kings including 17 and 20 pounders. We got runners at the boat, lost hair and close up butt shots. Didnt have a camera mount on my friends boat and it was all doubles, so the footage is a little different. Enjoy.
BlueCollarOutdoors Posted June 27, 2011 Author Posted June 27, 2011 (edited) ijRlPSZxShY And a big late morning deep deep deep king on a rediculously long lead from saturday morning while pulling lines. Edited June 27, 2011 by BlueCollarOutdoors embed video
