fishmkg
This is my first post .... hope it is helpful.Left the dock at 6:00 a.m. and was a little worried the fish would be scattered after the various high winds we had the past few days. Ran out a little south of the pier to 140 fow. Beautiful day on the water. Trolled south and around the middle net and back inside it. It was 8:30 and not a bump. Once I cleared it on the north side headed NW. The fish started hitting. We had some doubles and a triple and a bunch of singles but only on a NW troll. Turned SE to go back through and nothing all day on that troll. Ended up in double digits with a few nice 4 year olds a few in between and a couple dinks that were a little water logged. All were kings. When we marked bait is when the fish hit but in a small area. The Stingray Stinger was the exact size of the alewives we took out of them.Beware in 140 fow in the 11's, I am not sure if they are chub nets which are usually set much deeper or gill nets but they are clearly marked with two white buoys running parallel to shore a couple hundred yards apart.Good Luck,Capt.
