MY2SONS Posted May 15, 2010 Posted May 15, 2010 (edited) Didn't like the "spring" that was on the end of the Moor Subtroll so I found this fitting by Scotty, and fab'ed up an aluminum fixture for it when mounting to a Cannon downrigger. Didn't turn out too bad. Looking for SS set screws to eliminate the SS SHCS sticking out of the side though. Edited May 15, 2010 by GLF fixed image
MY2SONS Posted May 15, 2010 Author Posted May 15, 2010 OK. Little problem with inserting picture. Could use some help if someone is better at it then I am. Its under the Boats section in the gallery.
Rayman96 Posted May 15, 2010 Posted May 15, 2010 You could use shorter screws and drill a countersink in the aluminum body. For appearance, I would have made the rigger mount the same as the antenna mount.BTW, nice work!
GLF Posted May 15, 2010 Posted May 15, 2010 Nice job John. Go with set screws instead of counter sinking.
S. Yonker Posted June 18, 2010 Posted June 18, 2010 When you upgrade to countersunk screws I'll be first in line to buy a copy of this from you.Neat idea & professional grade construction!
