what kind of knot do I use to attach my swivel to wire ....I got the 7 strand 20# camo AWP from ATOMIK......?????I broke off today one time , dropped about $30.00 somewhere in Raystown around mile marker 2

When I went looking for wire information, it was recommended to me to use the 30 lb. wire. I too got it from Atomik.

You sacrifice very little depth for a lot more line strength.

You will need to use a light drag or add a snubber as well.

tried out the new knot today and it held up nice!

Its about as bullet proof as you can get Jim. Ive never had one fail. I love the simplicity of it too. So easy to tie.:thumb:

I hear ya, i got my start with wire on a friends boat and he crimped his on. Worked great most of the time. Then one day im fighting a fish and the wire slipped outta the crimp. Lot a bunch of tackle and a fish. Looked for a new way and found it here. I saved that very link in my favorites right after reading it. Its so nice not having to buy crimps, or worrying about if its gonna hold or not.
