New York state Senate confirms Walter Schermerhorn for Port of Oswego Authority

The New York state Senate has approved the nomination of Oswego resident Walter David Schermerhorn to become a member to the Port of Oswego Authority. The port authority is the state agency that oversees the Port of Oswego, the first U.S. port on the Great Lakes for ships entering from the St. Lawrence Seaway.
