Went out 6pm til 9 pm ,fished south of holland in 90 to 115 fow went 6 for 7 all salmon 2 coho's and the rest were chinooks. Two went back as they were shakers the rest were 3 to 8 lbs good eaters. we got them on riggers down 35,50,and 60 down and on 5 colors of lead. Glow fire dog,beef eater,king killer and NBK jp slammers.Trolled flies all nite without a bump but Dirty Dog was fishing by us and he was doing great on them. he ended up with 10 fish I think Great Job Terry!!!:thumb: The fishing is starting to pick up it will only improve over the next couple of weeks!Cant wait til Saturday !!!!! :D Jimbobber

Nice job Jim! I guess I know what I'm doing this weekend.

And this is a stupid question...but I always hear people talking about "shaker salmon". What is that?

Shaker - A shaker is a fish that is so small that you do not need a net, plus when you pull it out of the water, you can grab the lure (with pliers) and shake the fish loose. This minimizes the damage to the fish. Thus, a "Shaker"....

I always thought a shaker was a fish to small to trip a rigger or dipsey so we considered them shakers IE you see tha rod shake but the line does'nt release from the release. But hey I like Joes explanation to.
