Katrina Seath
Nice job Jim! I guess I know what I'm doing this weekend. And this is a stupid question...but I always hear people talking about "shaker salmon". What is that?
5 for Fight'n
Shaker - A shaker is a fish that is so small that you do not need a net, plus when you pull it out of the water, you can grab the lure (with pliers) and shake the fish loose. This minimizes the damage to the fish. Thus, a "Shaker"....

hornets nest
I always thought a shaker was a fish to small to trip a rigger or dipsey so we considered them shakers IE you see tha rod shake but the line does'nt release from the release. But hey I like Joes explanation to.
