A-Fishy-Anado Posted April 26, 2010 Posted April 26, 2010 Splashed my boat yesterday morning for the shakedown cruise. Started with a flat on the boat trailer and a struggle to find an air chuck but we got past that. Everything worked great except my depth raider said it was 50 degrees 15' down:confused:...not in superior this time of year so i am going to have to look into that one. We tried to get out of the bay and as stubborn as i am we did actually make it outside, but soon realized that the 4's turned into 5's and then 6's and it didn't look like fun so we turned around and set up in the bay. Ended the day 5-5 all small coho around 2 lbs which was better than i had thought the day was going to end when our plans were ruined once again by mother nature.
Nailer Posted April 26, 2010 Posted April 26, 2010 5 for 5 on some tasty Ho's is a nice way to make a shake down.
Adam Bomb Posted April 26, 2010 Posted April 26, 2010 Nice way to stare adversity in the face and overcome. Thats some of the finest eating on the great lakes right there...YUM!
Priority1 Posted April 26, 2010 Posted April 26, 2010 Brom, 5 for 5 on the shakedown is a good show. A flat tire and a problem with the Depth Raider isn't all that bad. The rest of the year will be smooth sailing.
DIRTY DOG Posted April 26, 2010 Posted April 26, 2010 5 for 5 sounds like a nice shake down to me , nice job Bromley.
