Jose Posted April 19, 2010 Posted April 19, 2010 What do you guys choose to terminate your line with? We use #7 coastlock swivels to attach spoons and plugs. It has seemed to start chipping paint and finish off some of our spoons. And this is only after one year of casual fishing. I was just wondering if anyone uses anything else and how it works for ya?
Priority1 Posted April 19, 2010 Posted April 19, 2010 Bead Chains with Duo Lock snaps. I don't think there is any way to prevent the paint loss near the snap. Even spoons with split rings chip some paint in the hook up area.
Yankee Troller Posted April 19, 2010 Posted April 19, 2010 Spro Coast Lock Size 3 (60lb) on our Salmon gear, and Spro Coast Lock Size 2 (45lb) on our Brown Trout gear.
spoonfed Posted April 19, 2010 Posted April 19, 2010 quit using sampos because they kept straightining out, now use #7 coastlocks
