Katrina Seath Posted April 18, 2010 Posted April 18, 2010 Went to South Haven for the first time this morning. We didn't know where to start, so we decided to put the lines down at 40 ft, headed south, fighting with the high seas. I'm not sure about the predicted 1-3 ft waves, because they were more like 3-5. Ended up with 3 for 3. One 12# king, one 8# king, and a 2# coho. One on a 3 color with double orange crush, two on blue dolphin, 10 ft down, 60 ft back. All fish taken around 20-22 ft, and just north of the power plant. I would have liked to stay out longer and maybe catch more, but, with my sensitive stomach, we had to head back around 11:00. Nailer Posted April 18, 2010 Posted April 18, 2010 Rough seas really suck . Keeping an eye on the shoreline helps a lot. Nice job on the fish. South haven is a nice town.
Sea-Mac Posted April 18, 2010 Posted April 18, 2010 Very Nice Katrina and Mark. Thanks for the report!
GLF Posted April 18, 2010 Posted April 18, 2010 Nice job Katrina. I had plans of going out this morning, but two sick boys and 30 degrees in the AM is not a good mix.
