DKuiper Posted April 17, 2010 Posted April 17, 2010 Fished from 8 AM to 3 PM. Strong NW wind kept us from getting N of Wind Point wherre we did really well on nice size fish last year. Picked up 3 just S of the point and 6 more in front of the harbor mouth. Biggest were 5.7 and 5.8. 3 came on DR down 12-15' and the rest came off flat lines off big boards back 60-80'. Bumblebee and Double Orange crush Pro-Kings took the 3 on the riggers and reefrunners and husky jerks took the ones off the flat llines. Hoping to get out tomorrow N of the Point in the wind lets us. Great day on the lake with a son and grandson,,,,and nobody fed the fish even as bad as conditions were. The boys did a great job with setting up, playing the fish and getting them in the boat. 9 for 9!Duane
