Lake Erie still counting on 2003's walleye hatch

For most Lake Erie anglers three species receive a bulk of the attention -- walleye, perch and smallmouth bass. The question this year, though, is can the "walleye capital of the world" continue to live on the 2003 hatch?

I'm thinking the 2007 hatch was bigger than they think. Caught a lot of them last year right on the edge of 15. I'm hoping this year will be like 2006:thumb:
