DKuiper Posted March 30, 2010 Posted March 30, 2010 Started setting lines at 9 AM. Had three flat lines out on big boards and was letting the fourth out when a fish hit it. Finally got 4 lines (running these 100' back) out on the boards and two on downriggers. A circus for two hours. Had one triple and got them all in. Ended up going 8 for 10. 7 came on the board lines and one on DR down 9'. All were caught on thinfins or thinfish tiger/red and gold with black back. Then we could not buy another hit until we were pulling lines. One was off before we got to the rod and the other made his escape at the back of the boat. 9 to 11 AM was hot and then we just lost 'em. Tried out to 45 FOW, but nothing out there. All fish had empty stomachs. Temp in close was 39 and past 25' was 37. 41 in the river. Called it a day at 1:30 PM.Duane
