few buddies got some out of portage, just waiting on all this pack ice to disappear finally. I'll be heading out of east chicago, IN sometime this week/next week for our first spring voyage. Will be doing a mixed bag of perchin and hunting for those silver fish.

the browns and steelhead are hittig at the pier heads and the beaches in water from 10 ti 30 feet out of south haven. there is no ice. keep me posted on the fishing out of michigan city and portage. larrie
