Fishing Report Posted July 14, 2006 Posted July 14, 2006 Salmon are being taken in 70 to 110 feet of water fishing 40 to 70 feet down from one quarter mile north to 1 mile south of the port. Best colors are lemon ice, silver with orange and blue dolphin. Muskegon Lake is producing good catches of smallmouth bass on leaches and crawlers. Bluegill fishing is good along the coastline of the lake in 6 to 12 feet of water using wax worms, worms and bits of crawlers. The east end of the lake is good for walleye during the day using spinners and crawlers.
