Fishing Report Posted July 14, 2006 Posted July 14, 2006 Walleye fishing has slowed. Smallmouth bass fishing continues to do well with the angling pressure spread throughout the entire lake. Anglers are casting tubes, beaver tails, flukes, leeches, sinkos, spinners and rapalas in 10 to 20 feet of water. Those drifting and trolling for bass have been fishing in 10 to 30 feet of water using jigs, crawler harnesses and rapalas. Sizes range from 10 to 17 inches. Perch have been caught using minnows and crawlers in 14 to 30 feet of water in Raspberry Bay, near Dutchman's Bay Public Access, near the city of East Jordan in the south arm and near Boyne City Harbor. Sizes range from 4 to 8 inches.
