jay d Posted March 16, 2010 Share Posted March 16, 2010 took the wife to manistee today ended up 14 for 16 12 browns 1 steelie and a northern.hj#10s 90 to 100 bk fire tiger,clown,purple sunfire,blue/silver orange belly and black/gold orange belly.we fished 10 to 15 fow.landed a nice triple 2 10#ers and a smaller one.pics in the gallery:grin:headed back with j wheeler in the morning. I wonder if these Frankfort reports might be an indication of the browns action in ports to the South like Muskegon. Anyone else want to chime in on this? I am planning on fishing Thurs afternoon this week. follow the river water,all the fish have been in the dirty water along shore went back with j wheeler this morning and got another 9 browns and another steelie same program as yesterday.hope we are seeing the start of a comeback for the brown fishery.no big browns today all 2 to 3 pounds.pic in the gallery.
