Fishing Report Posted July 14, 2006 Posted July 14, 2006 While the action has slowed, the best fishing for chinook, lake trout and steelhead is north towards Forty Mile Point fishing in 70 to 120 feet of water and 120 to 150 feet of water using downriggers 40 to 90 feet down. Good lures have been silver streaks, yellowtail, pink alewife, green alewife, black screwball, triple green, black raspberry, blue dolphin, green dolphin and fire tiger with flies, squid or cut bait behind them.
