Most of those Stannard Rock fish are caught on 20lb. Braid, 5 feet of 17lb. Floro Leaders, and 3oz. Jigs, all hooked to a 6' spinning rod! Much Fun!

The first 30lber in those pics was caught on 14lb. Stren and a $15 rod he bought the day before at ......i swear to god.....Wal-Mart! It took almost an hour to boat that fish.

Haha....Anytime Mother Nature lets you go!

Honestly, the fishing is excellent out there all season....but its a bit warmer in July/August! We had 38 degree surface temps and 25 degree air temps last year in June out there!
