News Posted February 13, 2010 Share Posted February 13, 2010 Water quality in the Southern Tier could suffer under budget cuts proposed by Gov. David Paterson, according to local agencies responsible for maintaining a healthy watershed. Currently, counties in the Lake Ontario watershed basin each receive $85,000 a year for conservation projects through the Finger Lakes-Lake Ontario Watershed Protection Alliance.More...
