Guys that are running outriggers, I was wondering what your using for holders? I have gimbal mounts now and when the outriggers are deployed, they are quartering way too far towards the bow and I don't like it. I want to put on deck mount holders so I can be a touch more forward than perpendicular to the boat. I know of a couple guys running dotlines. Any suggestions? Thanks

i dont have outriggers on my boat but a lot in Racine do fish them. Most of them either have adjustable rod holders such as the big Jons or rail mount holders such as Lee's. Lots of options and angle possibilities.

Maybe you could use some of the multiple rod holders that go into the flush mount gimble holder. If you know a good welder these could be cut and put at whatever angle you want. Maybe all you need to do is a slight modification on the gear you already have. It's tough to visualize, but I'm sure you'll figure something out. At one time I was thinking about outriggers for my boat.
