Fished the silos today

Fished the silos in Zillwaukee this morning with no luck. Three bites no fish landed. I was in 26 fow with a little current and clarity wasn't bad either. Not many people fishing, but the ones that were out did a lot of moving which is not good sign.

I didn't measure, but I was surprised by how much was there. I'd guess

6"-10".

I thinking of maybe trying to get out tomorrow afternoon and see what all the hubbub is about off State Park.

It was really good Tom, but slowed considerably yesterday. Water cleared and the people moved in on where the fish were..Shut em off and scattered em for us. We quit at 5 pm last night when the hurrican winds started!

Yeah its starting to look like Monday morning now. I've read a few stories about problems with working cracks and snow blowing in and people going through in 18 fow.

Thats what i heard too. A few buddies have been out without issue, but that dont mean anything. Ive been holding off myself waiting for more consistancy. Gonna have to wait a bit more i think or just keep to the 15' mark or less. That ice is thick and safe on the western shore from Linwood south. East side theyre getting out a LOOONG ways on good ice. Some friends have been doing well over there.
