I remember crossing in a ferry boat the Summer of 57 just months before it opened to traffic. It is an Awesome sight. I walked it a couple of times. 2007 was my last walk to celebrate the 50th anniversary. Thanks for posting the pics.

We went over to St Ignace last July it was cool & damp but the Mighty Mac was still awesome!

I need to get a picture of my boat with the Mac in view, I'd have it made into a poster!

I walked the Mac a couple years ago on my birthday. It was also the 50th anniversary for the bridge.

I love that pic. That's what made me think about pulling up there and getting mine taken.

Beautiful Pictures of the Bridge! I love the Bridge. Had the pleasure of flying over it before 9/11 and it still looked huge from 2000 feet above:)

Awesome pics of the bridge. We use to go up there every year when we were kids, and I've always loved staying at Parkside Hotel and staring at the bridge listening to the cars click-clack across the expansion joints. Thanks for bringing back some awesome memories.
