Boltman Posted January 19, 2010 Share Posted January 19, 2010 Maybe if they'd stop the netting by the Indians... we'd have more Salmon to catch. maybe they should issue Michigan state Rods and Reels to the indians... and make the fish as we have to....I wonder... but I know this will never happen. 1mainiac Posted January 19, 2010 Share Posted January 19, 2010 Salmon are a bycatch they are not supposed to keep and strangly enough very few end up in the nets. Mostly because the nets are setup for Whitefish which hug the bottom and Salmon seldom hug the bottom and when the do they are pretty much just relaxing.
