thats almost as bad as the chefs on tv serving salmon eggs. have you guys ever ate the roe?

I fried up some roe and ate it once just out of curiosity and that is most likely not a mistake I will make again, it was nasty, in my opinion. At least I wasn't the only person to eat it, I also got me wife and one of my friends to try it. Suckers. I'm sure a professional chef could have prepared it better than I did, but I'm no chef.

I have never eaten Salmon roe. I have eaten roe from perch, gills, sunfish, and crappie. It taste just like the fish. I like it fried very crispy on the out side. I think what turns a lot of people off, is the texture.:)
