glnmiller Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 We got a foot of lake effect snow since yesterday, and more on the way through Sunday night. Hope this doesn't slow the formation of ice too much.
DIRTY DOG Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 yup , that is what we got in allegan yesterday also, at one time you could not see 200 ft across the lake.
GLF Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 WOW....I live less than 10 minutes East of Allegan and we only got a couple of inches. Its times like this when I am glad I moved away from Duck Lake.
DIRTY DOG Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 I here ya mike I went to kalamazoo this afternoon and it looks like they only had about 5 inches on the ground but just east of south haven looked like 2 ft.
Adam Bomb Posted January 3, 2010 Posted January 3, 2010 Im not a big fan of snow period, so i wouldnt make it on the west side. I only want snow for opening day of gun season so i can see the deer better and then once i have a foot of ice an inch or two for traction. Other than that, i dont need it...So about 4" for the year is plenty MA NATURE!!!

Other than that, i dont need it...So about 4" for the year is plenty MA NATURE!!! We all NEED it. Most of the water that replenishes the Great Lakes comes from snow melt. We need it to float our boats. The fact that more falls in the Lake Superior watershed, and the West side of the state, is OK by me.
DIRTY DOG Posted January 3, 2010 Posted January 3, 2010 o, so the 90 to 120 inches we get every year is not your likeing? Just jokeing
